In an effort to encourage adventure tourism in the state, Jammu and Kashmir Mountaineering Club (JKHMC) is gearing to organize trekking program to Tsournag in the Margan---watershed between Jhelum Valley and Chinab Valley in the greater Himalayas.Most likely scheduled for June, according to a JKHMC statement, some 30 trekkers are slated to participate in the expedition. A mountain cleaning programme too has been approved for (JKHMC) by Indian Mountaineering Foundation, which augurs well for the cleanliness of mountain peaks.
