Read this on a blog by Terry Richard. John Roskelley released his latest book "The Roskelley Collection," a compilation of his three previous books ("Nanda Devi," Last Days" and "Stories off the Wall.") This book also has new material, including several chapters by Roselley on his more recent adventures and an introduction by Jim Wickwire, another one of the K2 summit climbers in 1978.
Terry Richard says that the best thing about this book is that it exposes a new generation of climbers and wanna-be-climbers to his adventures in the Himalaya. During his heyday, he was the best high-altitude climber in America and some even said he was best in the world.
The publisher of this book is The Mountaineers Books of Seattle and it is 670-page paperback.
